I paint because I love to paint. My paintings are mainly about my experience of living life in a human
form and the unique way that I perceive reality as the life force flows through me. In my paintings I
aim to capture some of the essence of my subject matter whether physical or more ethereal. Many of my
paintings are about inner realities transformed into outer forms. I love beauty, harmony, color, form,
flow, rhythm and play. All of these play very important roles in my paintings. My chosen medium is
acrylics, but I also do watercolor, mixed media and folded canvas paintings. And I like to experiment
and push my limits by trying new media or using a familiar one in an unconventional fashion. Even though
I paint because I feel compelled to do so, I also hope to bring joy and wonder to the audiences that
view my paintings. It is my mission to glorify life with my art.
